Deep Dive SF - 2026 - Cancelled

We regretfully announce that HKBA will be taking a hiatus, and that Deep Dive 2026 will not be going forward as planned. 

 

It’s been a rough year for us. Multiple deaths in our families and friend circles, health problems, and employment crises took much of our focus this year. Two weeks ago we found out that Mukunda Studio, our regular class space and planned Deep Dive location, has lost their lease due to the building being sold. The timing of this couldn’t have been worse. 

 

We are not confident we will be able to find an affordable, suitable space for Deep Dive before Labor Day. After much deliberation we decided the kindest thing would be to cancel now and give people plenty of time to make other plans for Labor Day weekend. We would rather bring our community a guaranteed fabulous event next year than live in stress and uncertainty this year.

 

We are incredibly grateful for the time we've had at Mukunda and our relationship with them remains as strong as ever. We wish them the best in finding a new space, and are eager to see where they end up! 

 

At this time our plan for monthly classes is to resume our regular schedule in the new Mukunda Studio once it’s up and running, whenever that may be. And Deep Dive will make its long-awaited debut somewhere in the Bay Area in Fall 2027.
